Rakhel is the founder of the Alice Foundation. A charity which she set up in memory of her late mother Alice.Now retired, Rakhel worked as a language support worker for over twenty years and has a passion for education and shaping children's lives for the better. Amongst many hobbies and interests, Rakhel is an active member of the community and as well as attending local groups, she is the secretary to local organisation Age Alive. Rakhel has three daughters and five beautiful grand children.
After gaining a Joint Honours degree in Physics and Philosophy I enjoyed a 33 year career in teaching in Comprehensive Schools. On retiring I took up employment as an Interfaith Development Worker, a post paid by the Presbyterian Church of Wales and Community House PCW.

I have a passion for interfaith work and although now retired I still do a lot of voluntary work in this field, together with other members of Community House.
I think that the aim of Alice Foundation, to build a church for Christians and a school for local children of all faiths is an admirable one. As a board, we are so delighted that Muslim friends, as well as Christians are supportive of our project.
Cynthia has been a trustee of the Alice Foundation since its concept. Cynthia has been married to Roger for 45 years. She is a mother to two girls and grand mother to five children- three boys and two girls. Cynthia is very involved with Trinity Methodist Church, especially the youth club and Messy Church. Her hobbies and interests include swimming, playing badminton and walking the dog.

A retired headteacher, Susan has been part of the advisory board of the charity since its inception. She is a member of Community House Presbyterian Church, Maindee, Newport and through a community womens' group, has worked with Rakhel and Marilyn Priday for many years, promoting respect and friendships across a large, widely diverse membership.

Iven enjoys spending time with his family and has a heart for community and togetherness.
Siama is the grand daughter of Alice and the secretary of Alice Foundation. She has a BA Honours degree in Sociology and Social Psychology and over ten years experience in administration. Siama is a mother of a young toddler boy and enjoys cooking, the outdoors and exercising.
